Chocolate Drops/Chocolate Haystacks

This is another one of Gabriel’s favourites and they are SO easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups white sugar

  • ½ cup butter

  • ½ cup milk

  • 5 Tbsp cocoa

  • 2 ½ cups rolled oats

  • 1 cup coconut

Method

  1. Put sugar, butter and milk in a saucepan, bring to a boil and add cocoa.

  2. Stir well and stir in rolled oats, coconut and cook for 3-5 mins stirring constantly.

  3. Use a tablespoon and drop on to a baking tray with baking paper. These freeze well and transport easily.
