Food became memorable in everyday life

Whether it was weekends spent gossiping with my girlfriends over Yum Cha, taking island ferry trips with packet noodles, luncheon meat and a fried egg on top or a dinner at one of the finest restaurants. Hong Kong eateries took me on a journey that expanded my tastebuds and my desire to cook and see people from all over the world gather around the table.

This is the city where I fell head over heels in love with food and head over heels IN LOVE.

I met my husband Philip here; and he is the OG foodie. Food has been part of our love story. Our weekly date nights were often food-centric and that might be through trying a new restaurant or taking a cooking class. Philip and I love to cook together and entertain - the kitchen has helped us work out a lot of our problems and whatever life throws our way, the kitchen seems to be one of the places where we are able to connect and wrestle through it all.
